> What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS is an inter-denominational Christian organization open to all mothers with children birth through kindergarten age. MOPS helps moms…and MOPS makes a difference in the lives of families. The purpose of MOPS International is to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs. This purpose is carried out in a variety of ways by offering:
- An opportunity to make friends with other moms and receive encouragement and practical tips for surviving the preschool years.
- Teaching based on biblical values about mothering, womanhood and relationships.
- Group discussions where moms can express their thoughts and feelings in an accepting environment.
- A time to express creativity in a variety of activities.
