MOPS is an international, non-denominational organization that has grown to include over 3000 chartered groups that meet in 12 countries around the world. Moms of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds come together monthly to support one another in the belief that mothering matters. The emphasis of MOPS is on mothers and their own spiritual, emotional, physical, and social needs.

MOPS of Chelsea First United Methodist Church meets on the second and fourth Fridays of the month at 9 am from September – May. Free childcare is provided so that moms have uninterrupted time to connect, share experiences, and discuss the joys and challenges of parenting young children. A typical meeting includes breakfast, a short discussion led by a MOPS Mentor Mom who has been through the challenging early years of mothering, an outside speaker, discussion and a creative activity. The theme for 2007-2008 is The HOME Factor:  Begin here ... Go there

For more information or to visit, please call 475-8119 or visit the CFUMC MOPS website.
