Learning, worshipping, and serving at church on Sunday mornings is a great start, but it takes a true partnership of church and home to build an everyday faith in children

Attend BLAST Worship on the 1st Sunday of each month:  Let your child see you sing, pray, receive communion, and praise God as you learn about the next month’s BLAST virtue together.  Talk about what you learned and experienced on your way home and throughout the week.

Use the “Take It Home” Cards and Bibles:  Find a spot on your kitchen table for the “Take It Home” BLAST card holder and weekly cards.  Make time during meals, before bed, or even in the car to read the weekly Bible story and discuss the questions on the card together.  You can also use the card to help your child memorize the monthly verse.

Listen to BLAST Music:   On the 1st Sunday of the month, the Renew Band and BLAST Children lead worship with songs that reflect  the BLAST virtues. Every family will be provided with a BLAST music CD so that you can listen to the songs and learn them at home.
