To reserve a room at the church first read our Building Use Policy:

If your group is insured through a parent orgnization, please read insurance requirements below. All paperwork will be due before your first meeting date. If you have questions, please contact Liza Gray at (734)475-8119.

LIABILITY INSURANCE: The individual shall obtain commercial general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 each occurance, and $2,000,000 annual aggregate. This policy shall be endorsed to include the Chelsea First United Methodist Church as an additional insured.

Once you have read and agree to the building use policy, click on the calendar icon(above). This will take you to our church calendar where you can browse to see if a specific space is available.

The online calendar MUST be used to reserve the church for all classes, meetings etc.
For weddings, please check the calendar for available dates,
then contact Pastor Joy Barrett at (734) 475-8119 x18, or press the contact button below to send Pastor Joy a message.

Once you’re ready to submit a request:

1) Click on the Reservations tab

2) Click on unauthenticated user.

3) Submit your request.


It can take up to 3 days to receive a response. Once your request has been reviewed, we will email you to let you know if your request can be approved, and review any cost of renting the space. If you do not hear from us by email, contact the church office. 734-475-8119. We ask for a $100 deposit to put your request on the calendar. If your request is approved to use the space, you will need to meet with a church representative before your first meeting. We will show you the room, read over the rights and responsibilities, and sign it.
