Bible Study Basics - New Sunday Morning Bible Study

Do you wish you knew more about the Bible?
Do you have trouble understanding some of the passages read aloud in worship?
Would you like a place to talk about how the Bible applies to daily life?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, “Bible Study Basics” may be for you.
This new class will meet on Sunday mornings in March and April from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Room 207. It will be led by Sondra Willobee, a retired United Methodist pastor. We’ll study the scripture passage for the morning services using discussion questions in three different areas:
  1. What does this passage say?
  2. What does this passage mean?
  3. How does this passage impact my life?
We’ll also talk about the book of the Bible from which the passage comes.
This class will increase your understanding of the Bible and enhance your experience of worship.
Sondra will send out a discussion guide via email on Thursday of each week. You’ll be able to participate better if you think about the questions beforehand.  Feel free to drop in – you don’t have to attend every week.  If you're interested in participating and would like more information, please contact Pastor Joy here.
